Competition Structure
The North American regionals of VIPC offer a diverse range of categories for participants, catering to various age groups and skill levels. In the past year the winners of these regionals are given the esteemed opportunity to compete in the grand finals held in the iconic Salle Cortot Concert Hall in Paris, under the auspices of the École Normale de Musique de Paris.
Unique Opportunities
Participants in the North American regionals can engage in masterclasses and workshops as part of their competition experience. These sessions are designed to refine their skills and provide valuable learning opportunities from established pianists and educators.

With the support of the internationally renowned and historical music academy founded by the legendary pianist Alfred Cortot, the “École Normale de Musique de Paris“- the finals will be held in the Salle Cortot concert hall adjacent to the school.
Our panel of jury are authoritative pianists and educators and this provides competitors with a high-level platform for players.
